What if? Many of us know the inner spiral of anxiety, how it feels in our mind and body to ruminate, question, overthink and dwell in existential dread, myself included. We will work from the "top down" (thoughts/feelings) and the "bottom up" (body and emotions) to ease, understand and communicate with our anxious self with more fluency. These techniques can help release us from the grip of the past and future so we may reside more in the present with contentment. |
Who am I? Whether we are uncovering, learning about or deepening into our identities, it is crucial that we step into aspects of ourselves that are longing for us to listen and nurture them into being. It is only then that we can feel the wholeness of selves and move into the question below. Through a social justice oriented and humble lens, we can integrate opposing identities such as race, gender, sexuality, parenthood, a career change, stepping into (or out of) partnership(s), aging & more. |
Why am I here? Our "life's purpose" can be a daunting inquiry. What you are and your gifts in the world don't necessarily need to align with your career choices. With gentle yet guided exploration, I can support you in leaning into your inherent gifts, discovering new aspects of yourself and generally feeling more grounded in and of this world. |
Thresholds & Passages
Not all of us have the privilege, structure, opportunity or support as we are knowingly or unconsciously initiated into the various transitions and roles we will take on in our lifetime. Therapy can be a gift to yourself in this way of allowing space, intentionality and guidance to come through as to how to navigate difficult (yet necessary & rewarding) life transitions. Whether that be related to gender, entering, exiting or re-invegerating relationships, shrinking (death) or expanding (birth) of the family, empty nests, or transitioning from college to "the real world", it can be so helpful to have an ally who can walk this disorienting and sacred path together. |
