 3 Summer Sundays- A Movement & Writing Workshop

I am bringing back my live virtual 75-minute therapeutic movement & writing workshops.
This is what I call "getting what is inside out."
Show up to all or as many as you like.

✢ These workshops are not intended as a replacement for therapy sessions but work well alongside them as a creative additional support.

We will:
✢ Begin with 5 minutes of working with the breath 
✢ Engage in a 45 minute movement practice (yin & yang)
✢ Practice 20 minutes of writing through guided prompts
✢ End with a short intentional closing


Please bring:
✢ Something to write with & to write on
✢ A yoga mat or blanket 
✢ Any props you may have (blocks, blanket, bolster, towel, pillows etc...)

Exploring the yin and yang elements in our bodies & minds:
  • Observe how certain yoga poses facilitate emotional observation. Feel the movement of energy in these shapes as portals to self-awareness.
  • With pen in hand, explore the depths of your emotions. What stories lie beneath the surface? What messages do your feelings carry? You will be guided through therapeutic writing exercises that bridge the gap between body & mind.
  • Carry the toolkit with you for daily life after the workshops, returning to your journal or mat anytime. ​
